Hushed voices, whispered conversations, peering glances around the corner and hands over the mouth when talking are all signs of gossip-going-on. Whether one is in the workplace, in the park or on the phone, if you can’t say it in a normal tone…….maybe you shouldn’t be saying it at all.
Here is something to think about: While you are party to the gossip, there is nothing being said about you. However, who do you think becomes the topic, when your back is turned?
Gossip is a nasty little behavior that breaks down the harmony of a work environment, the unity between family members and the bond of friendship.
