Great Round of Life

It is important to learn from the spiritually wise of the past, otherwise we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes in the future. No ‘one way’ has all the answers. Search for wisdom and light then, you will know when you find the Truth.

Buddha said:

“An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.”

“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.”

Hindu Scripture says:

“Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?”
                                                                                                                                          - Sai Baba

“The Self is the hub of the wheel of life,
And the sixteen forms are only the spokes.
The Self is the paramount goal of life.
Attain this goal and go beyond death!”
                                - Prashna Upanishad

Lao Tsu, Founder of Taoism said:

Anticipate the difficulty by managing the easy.”

“When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you.””

Jesus said:

“It is more important what comes out of your mouth, then what goes in.”

“Love thy neighbor as thyself.”

Wise leaders of the past have valid insights into how we ought to live. However, I caution you in taking any one individual's viewpoint as The Way.  Your Way is as personal and unique as you are. Find your Truth within the Great Round of Life, within yourself!

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Learn from the past, Grow in the present and Be in the future.” tc

Valley of Doubt

Do you ever feel like no one really cares? Like you wouldn’t be missed? Like nothing you do matters? Like no one is listening to you? In a world of technological connection and social isolation, it is hard distinguish where you are and where you are going.

Trust me…this pain will pass. You are a beautiful light of God and your life is meaningful. The pain that you endure is meant to help you grow. The troubles teach you lessons that only you can learn. The weight of today or yesterday is just an illusion created out of the fear of doubt.

Tomorrow is a new day. I believe that you can find the strength to rise above your troubles, to overcome your fear and find peace. You have a special purpose. You just have to believe in yourself and discover who you are meant to be. The path may challenge you but find your courage and never give up.

A Hindu saying fits perfect here. Titled: Limitless and Free

"You are always the same
Unfathomable awareness,
Limitless and free,
Serene and unperturbed.
Desire only your own awareness."

- Ashtavakra Gita 1:17

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“The seed of doubt plants weeds that separate and isolate but there is always a river of life flowing within you." tc

Veil of Existence

Are you living your dream? Are you working the job you love? Are you in a happy and fulfilling relationship? Are you single if, you don’t want to be in a relationship? Do the clubs you belong to teach you new ideas, support your interests and expand your knowledge? Does your faith lift you higher? Are you active and energetic? Do your friends reflect similar interests as yourself? If not, you are probably wasting time.

Change the things in your life that you have the power to control and accept the positive nature of the things you cannot change at this time. Life will be easier and much more fun!

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“When you are true to yourself, the veil of your existence drifts away like the sands of time.” tc

Time Traveler

His senses are heightened. His intelligence is unmatched. His home is through the cycles. His manor is powerful. His eyes are kind. His patience is unsurpassed. Love is the path in front of him and behind. Beauty is the draw of the ages. Wisdom flows through his circuits. His touch is pure enchantment to those he encounters. Ultimate consciousness is the frequency of his song. Life is the gift he offers.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“The more alien to the current culture that it is, the more pure it reflects.” tc

Left in Your Wake

Oftentimes, people are so involved with the linear direction of pushing forward in life that they forget to look behind themselves. Today, I would like to remind everyone of the circular movement of life. It is very important to periodically, look behind you because what you leave in your wake is sure to circle around and become your future.

If you notice similar patterns evolving in your life that are not fruitful, it is time to learn from those patterns. If you keep making the same mistakes that cause you grief and can’t figure out why nothing is getting better, it is time to review why you keep making those mistakes. If your relationships continue to fail and the people in those relationships continue to mention the same or similar problems, you need to be honest with yourself and see if they are correct.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Holding onto negative patterns and holding out for a positive change is like waiting for a rainstorm in the desert. It may sprinkle from time to time but you will never receive enough to quench your thirst.” tc

And We Danced

The beautiful art of Pantomiming is the eloquent and powerful telling of a story through bodily and facial expression without sound. Ballet is the graceful and fluid movement of the body in a theatrical setting to classical music. Tribal dancing is associated with the rhythmic and pounding of feet to the earth in a commanding and robust state of spiritual excitement in order to unite the group as one.

Dancing is an ancient ritual that connects humankind to the Divine. The deliberate and flexible movements of dance, creates an internal rhythm and external flow of harmony and unity. When a person is able to dance freely, without inhibitions to control their movement or stifle their articulation; the emotional release of dancing can only be described as pure bliss.

My sister, Brenda is a dance instructor in Moline, Il. She has a studio called "A Rythmic Time." She not only excels at teaching Ballroom dancing but she is having "The Time of Her Life" performing on stage, tv and in local shows! What a great way to live one's life.

These are the days that you’ll remember. These are the moments of your life. You deserve to be filled with joy. You deserve to be healthy. You deserve to be free to seek your fulfillment. You deserve to shine in the Light.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Dance and the energy of the world blossoms with you.” tc

The Power of Love

Love makes friends out of enemies. Love heals the sick.

Love brings joy where there is sorrow. Love builds community where 2 or more gather.

Love creates peace out of chaos. Love brings a smile where there were tears.

Love creates harmony out of war. Love binds a mother to her children.

Love comforts the suffering. Love has many faces. Love fills a room with laughter.

Love saves lives. Love speaks softly. Love can be shared with everyone.

Love has no chains. Love inspires. Love gives hope to the hopeless. Love conquers all.

If you are ever in doubt about what to do or question if you’re going down the right path, ask yourself one question. If the answer does not include love, you may want to reconsider your next step.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Love is in the answer to every question that you may have.” tc

Scenic View

Sitting around a campfire last week, a few of us were talking about taking photographs. "Jim" loved to take photos of everything, "Jason talked about taking photos of ‘his stuff’ and "Thom" expressed a love of photographing flowers and sunsets. I prefer scenic photographs and shy away from pictures with people, unless it is a “family outing” type of snapshot. Everyone was quite surprised to hear that I didn’t like photographing people.

The next morning, I was making my way across the beach and realized that a man was taking photos of the morning sunrise. My path was taking me directly in front of his camera. Quickly, I turned away and started to walk in another direction in order to avoid ‘ruining’ his photo.

No matter how smart you are or how talented one may be, if you do not continue to learn and grow throughout life, you rot! As I veered out of his way, I apologized for walking into the photograph. The gentleman turned out to be a visitor from another country. He opened his arms and gave me a big smile. What he said to me was priceless.

As one person trying to reach out to many by blending my hobby of photography and an education in human wellness, I want to express the deep-rooted connection that we all share with Mother Earth. On this morning, I learned a valuable lesson. The lesson is that if, I am wanting to communicate the delicate, harmonious balance that people share with the land, why don’t I have people in any of my photographs?

So, on that note, the quote of the day is (What this kind man said to me):

“Everyone belongs to the scenery.” tc

Food for Thought

Thanks to Emeril and Rachel Ray, to name a few, food is more than a necessity. Food has become a commodity to exploit. Food is no longer just a basic need of survival. It must be bigger, tastier and full of who-knows-what for Americans (at least) to enjoy it. Have you noticed that almost every holiday and special event revolves around food. People get excited to eat. They exert innumerable amounts of energy invested in preparation and cook time. I have even seen an attitude being “that if the food is ruined, so is the whole evening or at the very least…the cooks!” This is outrageous.

When we look at how unhealthy our society is on a whole, this is not a positive thing. Obesity is out of control. The acceptable standard for body weight and size has increased over the past 50 years and the excessive weight has increased many diagnostic health issues that people suffer from. Coupled with a decrease in nutritional value and taste, food has simply become a genetically engineered filler.

What is happening? There are people starving around the globe and many Americans continue to eat an abundance of unhealthy and poorly nutritional foods. Things must change. When the euphoric standard of desire for food is properly balanced with good nutrition and ‘enough,’ rather than an abundance, people will wake up from their caloric slumber. They will take a stand against the inundation of suppressed nourishment that they are being force-fed and temper nutrition and quality with quantity for life.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Balanced nutrition creates a balanced person.” tc

Your Worth

In American culture, people place a monetary value on almost everything.

Try this:

Try to describe something without placing a dollar value on it! Everyone knows what you mean when you say something is worth $10 as compared to $1000. Now, I want you to express the intrinsic value of an item using adjectives, without a dollar amount? Can you portray the same or similar, importance and insignificance, as when using the monetary system? It isn’t easy, is it?

What about a child’s life? How do you illustrate their importance and meaning? Parents say a lot of things to their children like: Don’t break that, don’t touch this, I can’t believe you did that and the endless name calling that insults and conveys negative worth.

The real message being communicated to a child is that the object, (car, tv, stereo, trinket) is more valuable than that child or his/her natural curiosity or even their life! Parents need to become more aware of the impression that they are projecting as to what is valuable and worthy in life. A dear friend once said to me, “Kids have as rich a life as anyone.” When we look around at the pain, distress and demoralization that the youth of today is experiencing and expressing, we must be honest with ourselves about the value that we have placed on a child’s life.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Children are the future society of tomorrow. The song they sing is the one you taught them.” tc

Symbolic Meaning

In my work of dream analysis, I do a lot of research to find the original or real meaning behind many of the archetype and common symbols that are in use today. Interestingly enough, many of the meanings behind the symbols we associate with today, were not originated by the perceived source that we have been led to believe. Most of us don’t question the given interpretation of a symbol offered by the ‘authorities’ but we ought to inquire about its initial definition because they have changed, sometimes radically, over time. Ancient symbols have been used, reused and misused throughout history.

Here are some examples of ancient symbols and their meanings:

The Swastika has become associated with the corrupted power of Hitler and Nazi Germany. However, the swastika is an ancient symbol. It has been found scratched on Siberian clay figures from the Neolithic period, found as decoration on American Zuni-Indian pottery, on the foot of Buddha as a magic sign and on 7th century statues and pots from the Aegean.

“The swastika actually represents the cross: the Great Mother’s body and her outstretched arms, the directions. The swastika means ‘earth in flight;’ the cross with feet or wings, set in motion. Later, the swastika came to represent the moon-wheel then, changed to signify the sun-wheel: like the double crescent (the Labrys), it indicated both directions of the cosmic spin: into creation and dissolution.” (Sjoo & Mor)

The early connotation of the Cross represented the earth, the Goddess of creation. The cross divides the four directions of the universe. Later, the vertical line came to symbolize ascension of spirit into Light and the descent of the Spirit into the human microcosm. The horizontal line indicates the temporal existence of mankind on earth. For the past two thousand years, Christianity has copied the symbol to represent their religion.

The Cosmic Snake derives from the original Goddess cosmology. It represents wisdom, immortality and continuity within change, the heart center, the cosmic energy. Combined with the world tree, found everywhere in Neolithic agricultural people, it symbolizes the garden of abundance. It reflected agricultural concerns of the ancient people. The serpent, by shedding its skin, incorporated being reborn in the spring, growing and changing. At least 2 thousand years before the Hebrew patriarchs wrote the “Garden of Eden” story, the serpent was powerful, magical, life-giving and implied peaceful abundance.

Today, in most cultures not associated with the negative twist presented by Christianity, the serpent is recognized as positive, powerful and epitomizes life, rebirth and illumination.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“When you give away your integrity to the control of others, you are led in circles, without ever going anywhere.” tc

Master of Despair

Unfortunately, there are a lot of pessimistic people walking around with an attitude that gives the impression that they are always looking for the negative to happen. They appear to delight in misery happening to others and revel in the pain and downbeat aspects of modern life. Sometimes, I admit, that I want to just shake them and say, “Open your eyes and look around at the beauty of life. Pull yourself together and enjoy.” Of course, I don’t. I know that their misery will eventually lead them to light but why do they have to drag everyone else down with them?

I think that these type of people resemble a bear. They growl, curse, pace and ponder, until they become restless enough to leave the cave and emerge into the light. It is important to remember that behind it all, is a deep rooted Fear of who they are and who they are not.

The Wisdom of Buddha is quoted as saying,

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.”

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“When one is low enough, sad enough and lonely enough….they will begin to seek the Truth, which resides in the Light.” tc

Take That....

Karma. Ancient cultures from China to India and south to Peru and African tribes believe in Karma. What is Karma? The belief that every thought, word and deed that you have and /or exhibit comes back to you either in this life or in a future life.

So, what qualifies.: Making fun of people…yes. Hoping for something bad to happen to another…yes (even wishing their Karma on them). Harboring ill will against someone…yes. Not saying I’m sorry….yes. One ups-man-ship…yes. Lying, stealing coveting ….yes. Cheating on an exam…yes. Damaging others’ property…yes. Taking more than giving….yes. Whispering about others…yes. Crude, sarcasm….yes.

The ancient cultures of the past have tried to spread the most important message for all humanity to connect with. Whether it came through a spiritual faith, a cultural practice or passed through history in the form of stories, the most important message of life is to LOVE. Sending love to every living being and giving love is the only way….here and now, for you to live. Swallow the sarcasm, Change your thoughts, Release your pain and Stop your negative actions. When you do, life will happen for you.

“When you share enough love, you become the Light.” tc

Give More Than You Take

This is a theme that has permeated organized cultures, specifically, their religions for thousands of years. But, what does it really mean? I have always associated this with being generous and sharing what I have. However, recently, I have begun to question, if that is enough.

I have watched my parents, friends and neighbors give to those seemingly, less well-off. I have tried to emulate them in being generous with the money that I have and I am always trying to share, if I see a need. But once again, is that enough?

Does this theme apply to: helping someone in need, AFTER you are satisfied or before? Does giving only include monetary sharing or does it include sharing of self, too? What about attention seekers (I’m not talking about children here)? Does taking more attention from others for yourself, fit into this category? The Hindus have a saying about this topic. It is:

"Every selfless act...is born from Brahman, the eternal, infinite Godhead. He is present in every act of service."
- Bhagavad Gita 3:15

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Every act of selfless goodness brings us closer to God.” tc

Water Safety

The other day, I witnessed a very scary scene, a scene that unfortunately, happens frequently in the summertime on lakes, rivers and other bodies of water. A man had not properly secured his boat on the shoreline. Unexpectedly, a wind-storm blew in from the west. The intense wind caused the mooring of the boat to break and it started floating out to the middle of the lake. The man, thinking of his boat and not of his own well-being, jumped into the 40 degree water in order to retrieve his possession. It only took a few minutes in that water temperature for hypothermia to set in. As the boat drifted further out, the man found himself in trouble.

Luckily, there was one other boat on the shore and he was rescued from the cold waters. He was saved. I mention this because we are approaching the summer season, which is usually full of many weekend water activities. I hope that this message of a ‘close call’ reminds all of us that our possessions can always be replaced but our life balances within each moment.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Be careful where you place your value. Nothing and no one is worth losing your life over.” tc

Divide and Conquer

In the book, “The Great Cosmic Mother” by Monica Sjoo & Barbara Mor, they state that patriarchal societies, those built upon the foundation of male dominion in the areas of politics, religion, family and psychotherapy, are devoted to the philosophy of “division.” Patriarchy divides spirit and mind, male and female, mind and matter and God from nature. For thousands of years man has raped nature, exploited her natural resources and manipulated the earth’s production for the mechanical, unyielding and progressive ideals of separation for his own creation.

The combined communal-orientation of family, spirit and group well-being promoted by women from the Neolithic age forward, has been oppressed, trampled upon and broken down into individualism and isolation. Community creates a bond of potential, exactly what patriarchal dominion rejects. The meaning of “Strength in numbers” has been distorted from harmonious societies of ancient times, all working together for the betterment of the entire group to ‘those who have and those who have not” under patriarchy.

"The beautiful bond of Mother and Child has been reduced to 'primitive,' 'infantile' and even 'pagan' by those in sex-role cultures. “The son has to reject the mother to be able to dominate the wife as a ‘real man’ and the daughter must betray her for the sake of ‘submitting to man.’' It was not always this way and will not remain this way going into the future. The sacred bond of Mother/Child, Husband/Wife and Community will once again emerge as The Way to Love, Balance and Live a harmonious, spiritual life!

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“The warm, protective womb of the world began within the Earth Mother and there is where we all shall return in love, peace and beauty.” tc

“As Above, So Below”

The ancient Egyptians created this saying to reveal one of the greatest secrets of the universe. What happens in the celestial heavens above us also happens on planet earth. When energy moves through the universe, it moves through us. When the stars sparkle in the night sky, we sparkle. When the sun shines brightly, we shine. When explosions blast in the outer atmosphere of our planet, explosions erupt on earth.

We see our reflections in the ‘above’ as a mirror of ‘below.’ The universe is one cycle within another cycle. History repeats itself because time is cyclical. Our lives are cyclical. “As Above, So Below.”

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“The great spiral of life is a reminder to us of the microcosm that we mirror of the universe above us. ” tc

The Power of One

Did anyone see the movie, Pay it Forward? It came out several years ago but it was a wonderful little movie with a powerful message. Today, I want to touch on the theme of that movie. I used to watch television, once in a while but it was so full of crimes committed, wars around the world and personal tragedies that I quit watching. By viewing this type of trauma, daily, it is easy to see why some people have lost hope in anything ever improving.

However, Hope is the one thing that we have the power to exercise; the one real freedom that no one can take away from us. With hope, we can do anything. We can change the negativity of the world by first changing our attitude about the world. We can empower another to try harder. We can give love to all. We can support someone in need. We can find the spiritual path that suits us. We can enable hope to live. We have the Power to be the One that changes the world, if we, first, believe fully in ourselves.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

"Faith, hope and love ease the tension of society’s self-inflicted madness.” tc

Ray of Light

I was in Antelope Canyon, Arizona, last week and took a tour through the Upper and Lower Canyons. It is a guided tour presented by the Navajo Indian Reservation. The Upper Canyon is strikingly different from the Lower Canyon tour. In the Upper Canyon, beams of Light penetrate through openings in the canyon ceiling, periodically, along the walk. This is not a place for everyone as the passages are very narrow in places. Those individuals with claustrophobia would not do well. However, for those people who are not wheel-chair bound or larger than 18 inches in girth, both canyon tours are breathtaking wonders of what 180 million years of natural earth forces can do to rock and sandstone.

Besides the ever-changing, awe-inspiring scenes that moved before my eyes, all I could think of was that God IS with us and within us.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Be a ray of light in someone’s hour of darkness.” tc

A Bouquet of Life

There is a stereotype in American culture that I think needs to be changed. The stereotype revolves around the beautiful, fragrant, colorful poignant giving of flowers. Have you noticed that most people receive huge arrangements of flowers at their funeral? I have been to several funerals in the past and it seemed odd to me that the deceased was covered in massive wreaths of color in the casket but rarely, if ever, received flowers while they were alive! So, I ask you, does this make sense? Who are the flowers really for and why?

My Aunt was in hospice just weeks before passing over to the other side and I decided to send her a large bouquet of roses. She was so delighted by the gift of love. She was able to smell the sweet scented flowers and enjoy the bright colors in an otherwise, less than joyful environment.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Give the gifts from the heart, now, that you wish to share; while your loved ones can receive the full enjoyment of your offering.” tc

Queen of the Castle

There is a rhythm to life, a motion that moves us all through the ages. We take comfort in knowing that the sun has risen and it will rise again tomorrow. It is reassuring to each individual to know that there is an order to life. We make plans based upon this order. We build our earthly castle, one stone at a time to support our desire for security, comfort and well-being.

However, there is a conflict that develops inside us as we lay each stone. As intent as we are to create this palace of stone around us, we know that it is fragile against the onslaught of nature. We know that we cannot take it with us when we depart this land and that, regardless of the solidity of the stone, it will not last forever. This friction of ideals at some point will awaken us to the Truth. The Truth is that the only castle that lasts forever is the illumination of our spirit! When we dispense with the cultural conditioning of what is important for our life and start to walk the path of the soul, treasures abound around us. An intense fervor that cleanses the spirit and creates the glowing illumination of real comfort, security and well-being arises. Tempered by the calming effect of the crystal-clear, azure hue of life-giving water….. we become Love.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Plan to be surprised.” tc

A Dose of Love

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope that on this special day in remembering Mothers across the globe and around the world that you appreciate the gift of life that was given to you by this wonderful person. Not everyone is able to express their feelings openly and honestly but on this day, I hope that if your mother is still living, you try to at least spread a dose of love towards her. Put the disagreements aside, the petty arguments away and the years of pain behind you. She needs you as much as you need her. Celebrate your life provided by Your Mother, Today!

God Bless Every Mother and all her Children.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is the quote I gave My Mother:

“Like an artist’s hand moving over the canvas, bringing to life a skillfully created portrait, A Mother’s love graces her children in a variety of hues, deep and comforting through the years.” tc

Golden Horizon

Each day the sun rises over the horizon and shines it’s brilliance on a new day. The Light stirs us from our nighttime slumber and provides another opportunity for joyfulness, adventure, sharing and love to enter our life. Animals graze peacefully in the soft rays of blossoming brightness. Trees and plants are verdant with fresh morning dew. The waters of the land lap against the shoreline from coast to coast. Another day has begun.

What is important for each one of us to do is recognize the ‘golden lining’ of peace that the sun spreads across the land. As the warming shafts of light fill our bodies, we ought to pause and give thanks. We have many decisions to make in the coming hours that fill our days. Only by starting the day in peace and love and by giving thought to the blessing of our life can we traverse the obstacles that lie before us.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Drawing the warmth out of the first rays of an morning sun, comforts the afflicted and gives hope to those who have made it through another nights perilous turn on the journey through the underworld. “ tc

Flee Emptiness

Life is such a gift of our soul’s journey. We are born into a beautiful world full of unexplained mysteries, unexplored regions and uncut paths to travel. It is too precious to waste unhappy, unhealthy and unfulfilled. Take this moment and review your life. If you are not happy, seek that which makes you happy. If you are not healthy, find a new method or treatment. If you are not fulfilled, knock on the spirit’s door and it will open. Nothing happens without you first making the decision to change it.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Blaze a new and fruitful trail. You may be surprised who you meet along the way.” tc

Built to Last

Nature is full of metaphors. If we look around, we can select pieces of nature that relate to our lives through symbolic expression. The seasons of the year represent the seasons of our lives: Spring/Birth, Summer/Young Adult, Autumn/Middle Age, and Winter/Old Age. Water is symbolic of potential and creation. The sun is symbolic of solar energy, the life force.

Even a tortoise can reveal secrets of nature for us to learn from. A tortoise is Built to Last! It has a hard shell that protects it from predators and external forces. Its home is where it makes it, which may change over time. The tortoise conserves its energy by traveling slowly and staying on course. It has a tender middle that nourishes its growth. The tortoise has engraved upon its shell, one of the geometric patterns of creation. A tortoise represents strength, endurance and longevity.

Although our lifespan does not normally range over 100 years, the quality of our life is in our hands. We have the power of strength to grow from within. We have the ability to endure many external forces, successfully. We can increase the length of our lifespan with some simple behavior changes. We can learn from the tortoise.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“All that an individual can become is enclosed within the shell of possibility.” tc

Shadows and Light

Carl Jung, a German psychiatrist developed the “Shadow Theory.” The theory states that those things that we cannot deal with or do not recognize within ourselves are hidden in our subconsciousness. They take the form of our shadow.

We see our shadow in others but do not recognize it in ourselves. For example, I was in a classroom setting and the teacher read a series of 40 words to the class. We were instructed to write down the words that had an impact on us, either positive or negative. I wrote down a few words. When asked to reveal one, I selected wild and fat (lazy). These words hit a chord with me. Further explanation by the teacher helped me see that I was harboring a negative vibe against people who I perceived as lazy because I had been working very hard writing a book. I was in need of some ‘wild’ time; some fun because I had been working very hard without a break. My subconscious shadow of ‘laziness and wild’ disappeared when I recognized how I was feeling and how I was projecting those shadows onto others. Amazing.

We all do this in some format. It is not that we are bad or that the shadow is bad. The shadow is there to teach us where we need to learn and grow in our lives. It is important to know that simply by being aware and acknowledging the shadow, we bring it to Light and it begins to go away.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Purity contrasts sharply from evilness. However, neither one can be covered up or disguised.” tc

Symphony of the Universe

Water is the mirror image of Light. Physical matter is the manifestation of Sound.

In the Christian Bible, John 1:1 states: “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” Continuing through the scripture it says in John 1:14 “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw his glory, glory as to the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

There are many theories on the frequency of sound waves creating manifested life. Sacred Geometry is the shapes that sound takes on as it forms into physical matter. These sound waves come in varied strengths and duration. In our universe, energy in the form of light and sound radiates from different sources deep within the center of our galactic core. The human eye and ear do not detect this radiation but science can monitor it. The Eye or Bulge at the center of our universe sends out bursts of energy in cycles of time. Depending on the strength and duration of these energy bursts, they influence life and death of all organic material, to include human beings.

The most powerful energy source known by NASA is called a Gamma Ray Burst (GRB). These are short, intense energy bursts which penetrate the outer atmosphere of our planet. Small bursts have minimal, immediate impact on people and life forms. However, GRB that last for several seconds, have multiple peaks and/or an afterglow effect, create a multitude of changes on Planet Earth. Similarly to the documented emotional and mental effects of the moon on people and the physical effects of the moon on tides, I have been documenting a correlation on GRB with emotional and mental changes in people and physical planetary upheaval on earth (i.e. volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and other irregular weather phenomenon).

Furthermore, Johannes Kepler, Pythagoreans, Ptolemy, Copernicus and modern researches such as Joscelyn Godwin, David Pratt and M. Harvey have all worked within the variation of the Harmony of the Spheres, the sound of the planets in the celestial heavens, the resonating relationship of the musical scale, mathematics and the harmonic sound of the universe.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“The Song of Heaven, the Voice of Angels and the Pitch of Consciousness is based upon the length and duration of the wave of the universe.” tc

America's Favorite Past Time

What do American’s do more than anything else? Is it watching football, baseball or NASCAR? Is it BBQ’ing in the summer? Is it hanging out with friends and family on the weekend? The answer is NO to all of those.

What American’s love to do more than anything else is Complain! Have you noticed that, too? In the past, I have certainly been as guilty as everyone else. I thought that complaining did something. Well, it did. It made people around me upset. It sent negative energy into the universe and it made me sound awful. Then, one day, I woke-up to what I was really doing and how I sounded. Things changed.

Complaining does nothing because no action is taken. Complaining sounds terrible and it is a waste of time. So, why do so many people complain every single day? Why has complaining become acceptable? Complaining is the result of unmet expectation! (And I have blogged about that already) We complain because we Expect things to be a certain way. We are egotistical in our thinking that whatever we want, we should get. When we don’t get want we want, We, Americans, take offense and complain.

It is easy to react to the negative energy of complaining and copy it but I ask everyone today to do their best to try and stop. Take the higher ground and if you can’t be positive, don’t say anything at all.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“With a stiff back, strong footing and an open heart, you must hold your convictions steady against the strong winds of negative influence.” tc

On a Wing and a Prayer

Birds are symbolic spiritual messengers. From ancient times, they represent transcendence, the soul, divine manifestation and the ability to enter into a higher state of consciousness. When you watch birds soar high in the sky, especially large birds like hawks, vultures and eagles, it is easy to see why so many ancient cultures believed that they could communicate spiritually between mankind and God.

Today, we do not think of using birds to act as intermediaries between mankind and God. We express ourselves directly through prayer. I believe that all prayers are answered. I also believe that prayers are answered based upon what is best for our life, not by what we want.

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Open yourself to the power of prayer and watch the transformation begin.” tc
