Great Round of Life

It is important to learn from the spiritually wise of the past, otherwise we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes in the future. No ‘one way’ has all the answers. Search for wisdom and light then, you will know when you find the Truth.

Buddha said:

“An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.”

“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.”

Hindu Scripture says:

“Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?”
                                                                                                                                          - Sai Baba

“The Self is the hub of the wheel of life,
And the sixteen forms are only the spokes.
The Self is the paramount goal of life.
Attain this goal and go beyond death!”
                                - Prashna Upanishad

Lao Tsu, Founder of Taoism said:

Anticipate the difficulty by managing the easy.”

“When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you.””

Jesus said:

“It is more important what comes out of your mouth, then what goes in.”

“Love thy neighbor as thyself.”

Wise leaders of the past have valid insights into how we ought to live. However, I caution you in taking any one individual's viewpoint as The Way.  Your Way is as personal and unique as you are. Find your Truth within the Great Round of Life, within yourself!

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

“Learn from the past, Grow in the present and Be in the future.” tc
