The Ancient Egyptians believed that the Milky Way was the River of Life. The Milky Way, from the perspective of Earth, is the path of the sun’s motion on the celestial sphere, as we rotate on our axis. This pathway is called the ecliptic. The constellations along the ecliptic, encompass our known 12, plus 2 additional ones. They are: Aquarius, Aries, Cancer, Capricorn, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Pisces, Sagittarius, Scorpius, Taurus and Virgo. The other two constellations along the ecliptic are Orion (the Hunter) and Ophiuchus (the Serpent Handler/Healer).
The Milky Way or River of Life is believed to be the path that the soul/spirit travels as it makes its way through the underworld and into Immortal Life. This powerful river creates many transformations for the spirit along the way. The constellations are mythological stories by many ancient civilizations that, I believe, were created to document the perils and celebrations of the Spirit from darkness into Light!
The Nile River in Egypt and the ancient pyramidal structures alongside it were created to document the celestial heavens above…..So below, on Earth.
The next time you see a beautiful, flowing river, don’t forget to think of the river above your head. Because everything on earth is a microcosm of the heavens above, try to observe your life as a mirror of the grand design above you.
So, on that note, the quote of the day is:
“See your life as a river, ever flowing, ever creating and forever one with the All.” tc

Honest Flow
Do you think that no one will detect the narrow look in your eyes? Are you so clever that the slight change in your mannerism will go unnoticed? Do you really believe that the smirk of deception on your face will be passed off as a joke? As you fidget your fingers in your lap, do you think you have convinced me that you are relaxed and worry free?
It is so easy to tell the truth. You say it like it is and everyone else has to deal with it. The truth will always rise to the surface. It may be frozen under the ice for a time but when the water thaws the rush of consequence is oftentimes more damaging than the initial admittance would have been, anyway.
Unfortunately, because of a person's inability to face the truth themselves, lies are created and elaborated upon, until even the one telling the lie ends of forgetting the truth.
Lies tangle up the smooth flow of life. The knarled twists and turns of deception always strangle the deliverer at some point. It may take years but the turbulant stress of trickery will show on their face like a flood ripping apart the land as it moves across it.
So, on that note, the quote of the day is:
"The protective encasement of lies surrounding you will only last until the season changes." tc

My Morning Elixir
I love a hot cup of coffee in the morning. It begins with the strong, rich scent of freshly ground beans, followed by steaming hot water that draws the dark-roasted aroma out of the grounds. Next, the tantalizing brew is gently poured in to my thick ceramic coffee cup with a pine tree on the side. Adding a splash of cream and a teaspoon of sticky, sweet honey my caffeinated morning bev-erage is complete.
As I sip the bold morning elixir, savoring the warmth as it washes down my throat, I think to myself.......This is so good, why does it have to end at the bottom of the cup?
On that note, the quote of the day is:
"The magic of the morning is often lost on the expectations of the day."
