Sinful Delights

As I write this blog, I am enjoying a bowl of chocolate chip, cookie dough ice cream with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top. Yes, I know it is loaded with fat, sugar and not enough protein to justify such an indulgence. For those who know me, you are probably shocked at the announcement of my consumption of this type of food, considering that: I am a vegetarian, eat very little white sugar and monitor my physical health, diligently.

However, by splurging once in a while on such "sinful delights," I am not tempted by the draw of unhealthy foods on a regular basis. I am able to completely enjoy my dessert without guilt or shame.
Cool, isn't it?

So, on that note, the quote of the day is:

"Everything in moderation.  Well, almost everything!" tc
