Veil of Existence

Are you living your dream? Are you working the job you love? Are you in a happy and fulfilling relationship? Are you single if, you don’t want to be in a relationship? Do the clubs you belong to teach you new ideas, support your interests and expand your knowledge? Does your faith lift you higher? Are you active and energetic? Do your friends reflect similar interests as yourself? If not, you are probably wasting time.

Change the things in your life that you have the power to control and accept the positive nature of the things you cannot change at this time. Life will be easier and much more fun!

Queen of the Castle

There is a rhythm to life, a motion that moves us all through the ages. We take comfort in knowing that the sun has risen and it will rise again tomorrow. It is reassuring to each individual to know that there is an order to life. We make plans based upon this order. We build our earthly castle, one stone at a time to support our desire for security, comfort and well-being.

However, there is a conflict that develops inside us as we lay each stone. As intent as we are to create this palace of stone around us, we know that it is fragile against the onslaught of nature. We know that we cannot take it with us when we depart this land and that, regardless of the solidity of the stone, it will not last forever. This friction of ideals at some point will awaken us to the Truth. The Truth is that the only castle that lasts forever is the illumination of our spirit! When we dispense with the cultural conditioning of what is important for our life and start to walk the path of the soul, treasures abound around us. An intense fervor that cleanses the spirit and creates the glowing illumination of real comfort, security and well-being arises. Tempered by the calming effect of the crystal-clear, azure hue of life-giving water….. we become Love.

Over exposed?

The natural elements of our planet carved deep ruts, narrow canyons and jagged peaks up and down the mountainous regions of the earth. Ice, wind, rocks, water and debris flowed through this draw to expose the raw beauty that you see today. By cutting away the topsoil and sculpturing the land, Mother Nature has produced an awe-inspiring panorama of beauty for all to enjoy.
When we do the Work that it takes to forgive ourselves and others, when we heal from the damage caused by open wounds and when we open to the beauty of who we really are, the light emitting from within us is God's masterpiece sculptured from the rough-draft of creation.

Opinion vs. Truth

A few days ago, I had a friend present two different scenarios to me about her job.  She was being promoted but wasn't happy with the work she was doing and was even considering quitting her job. She asked me what she should do.

While we all seek guidance from family and friends pertaining to a variety of areas of our life, ultimately, we have to live with the decisions that we make.  No one else is going to walk the exact same path that we do.
