Birds are symbolic spiritual messengers. From ancient times, they represent transcendence, the soul, divine manifestation and the ability to enter into a higher state of consciousness. When you watch birds soar high in the sky, especially large birds like hawks, vultures and eagles, it is easy to see why so many ancient cultures believed that they could communicate spiritually between mankind and God.
Today, we do not think of using birds to act as intermediaries between mankind and God. We express ourselves directly through prayer. I believe that all prayers are answered. I also believe that prayers are answered based upon what is best for our life, not by what we want.
