High Times

One of my favorite songs by Sugarland is These Are The Days. Let me quote the lyrics: "We can't forget, these are the days. Don't be afraid. We can't forget, these are the days. We've got each other and that's all we need."

With massive unemployment, a housing market that will take a long time to improve and the American dream going from "the land of opportunity" to ......."getting out of debt," sometimes it does feel like there is no way out of our current circumstance.

However, if we keep in mind that "the good times pass like the bad times do," then, we will be able to see beyond the difficulties of the given moment and rely upon each other to make it through. We will look for a positive change, an open door, a whisper of things beginning to look up. We will hold on to the good and let go of the negative.

Blue Devils

It isn't every day I am able to capture Mother Nature at her finest.

I was fishing.....what I am doing all summer long.... and a swarm of blue dragonflies flew right in front of me.  They hovered over the water for a few minutes before continuing along the shoreline. Wow!
